At Stand Out Youth Empowerment Inc., we believe every young person has the potential to rise above challenges, embrace their strengths, and lead with purpose. Based in Melbourne, we empower young
people through sport, mentoring, and education – helping them grow into confident leaders within their families, schools, and communities.
We are a community-driven organisation passionate about creating pathways for young people – especially those from multicultural and underrepresented backgrounds – to thrive. Through basketball,
mentoring programs, leadership training, and community events, we provide safe spaces where youth can connect, learn, and excel.

Stand Out Youth acknowledges and respects the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we train, play, and connect across Victoria. We recognise the deep cultural ties and enduring connection that Victorian Aboriginal peoples have to Country, and we pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
We also extend our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from other regions who visit or participate in our programs.
Stand Out Youth further acknowledges the diverse contributions of migrants who have made Australia home – each adding to the rich cultural fabric of our communities and the game we love.
